A year-long series of celebrations began Saturday September 29, 2007 with an address by Dr. Victor Davis Hanson, a nationally syndicated newspaper columnist and educator, at an event at West Hills College Lemoore.
During Dr. Hanson’s address, titled “Our Valley and Our Western Culture,” he shared with the audience his experiences with cultures in other countries and compared them to the gender, racial and religious experience found in America.
