The 19th Annual President's Scholars Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, May 4, 2015, at Kings County Club in Hanford.
The 2014 tournament was also held at Kings Country Club. Twenty six four-person teams participated and more than $100,000 was raised to support the President's Scholars Program.
Since it started in 1998, almost 600 students from Kings and Fresno counties have received free tuition and up to $250 a semester in books allowing them the opportunity to complete the first two years of college at virtually no cost if they were able to continue to live at home.
Special thanks go to our primary President's Scholars Program sponsors: Pepsi, AP Architects and EECU.
Other major sponsors of the scholarship program include: Phyllis Roberts; Paul Griffin, M.D.; Teter Architects & Engineers; The Law Firm of Zampi, Determan & Erickson LLP; Wells Fargo; Buckman & Mitchell Insurance; Aera Energy; Chevron; PG&E; Union Bank; Mid Valley Disposal; Dale Scott & Company; Woolf Farming and Processing; Stone Land Company; Hansen Ranches; Marderosian, Runyon, Cercone, Lehman & Armo; The Boeing Company; San Joaquin/Tranquillity Lions Club; Tom Harris, Glenn Marcussen, William Phillmore; Oxborrow Enterprises, Inc.; Jones Hall, A Professional Law Corporation; and Coalinga Rotary.
