West Hills College Lemoore invites veterans to lunch
Area veterans are invited to attend the annual West Hills College Lemoore Veterans Appreciation Luncheon, which is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 10th from 11 a.m. until 1:15 p.m. in the college conference center at 555 College Ave. in Lemoore.
Organizer Susie Briones said the event will begin with a showing of the film, “Day of Infamy, Pearl Harbor,” followed by a presentation of flags and lunch.
At noon, keynote speaker Janice Stevens, will talk about her book, “Stories of Service.” Several of the veterans featured in the book will accompany her to the luncheon.
Briones said that all veterans are invited to attend but asked that they RSVP to her at 559 925-3321.
