West Hills Community College District Names Human Resources Director
Jana Cox has been named the human resources director at West Hills Community College District. She has served as the interim human resources director since July 2007.
Cox began her career with West Hills in 2004 as a financial aid coordinator. In 2005, Cox advanced to the district’s director of financial aid and held that position for two years.
Prior to West Hills, Cox was a financial aid advisor at Chapman University in Visalia.
Cox holds a master’s degree in human resources from Chapman University and a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership.
She has volunteered as an army family team building trainer working with young spouses who were new to the military. Cox has also presented and facilitated meeting on various topics of concern to new military spouses.
