With summer school already in session and the spring semester all wrapped up, it’s hard to believe that the school year is almost over. I have now been with West Hills for a little over 10 months and in that time, I have seen many amazing things happen here.

 

I would like to give kudos to you all on for another successful year at WHCCD. This year, between both colleges, West Hills awarded 786 degrees and certificates to qualified students ready to transfer to four year institutions or go straight into the workplace. All of you have been helpful in many ways with making this year a success. Thank you to all who have volunteered your time to the different events throughout the year.

 

The marketing department would like to thank all who volunteered to work the Coalinga and Hanford Farmers Market. Outreach is a great way to meet potential students and get our name even more familiar in our local communities.

 

Enrollment is looking good. Summer enrollment is up 8 percent and fall enrollment is up 21 percent. Let's continue to fill those seats for the fall semester. With that said, I hope everyone is enjoying their summer.
