The Placement test offered at WHC Lemoore requires students to take all FOUR tests in order to be placed in the appropriate levels of English and Math. Students must call to set up an appointment to take the test. Please allow up to 3 hours for testing sessions and 1 hour for orientation.
1. Reading Comprehension (30 minutes)
2. Sentence Structure & Grammar (20 minutes)
3. Sentence/Syntax Skills (15 minutes)
4. Math (45 minutes) (Students will choose level of math at the time of the test).
**PLEASE Check the Placement Testing & Orientation Schedule then call 925-3317 TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR PLACEMENT TESTING**
Students who have completed placement tests can see their scores on the website. Go to the My West Hills - Student Section and click on the "Test Score Summary" link.

ABILITY TO BENEFIT (ATB Testing)
Is ONLY for students without a high school diploma or GED who want to qualify for financial aid. Please see a financial aid advisor for an appointment slip.
If students do not have a high school diploma or a G.E.D., they must take a ATB test and meet minimum scores set by the federal government. These students must wait six weeks before retesting and must take all three sections of the test for Ability to Benefit.
