  • SOC-002 Critical Thinking/Social Prob (3 Credits)

    SOC 002 identifies and analyzes contemporary social problems, including (1) the role of power and ideology in the definition of social problems, (2) their causes and consequences, (3) evaluations of proposed solutions, and (4) methods of intervention. The course focuses on the application of critical thinking skills to strengthen critical analysis and heighten social awareness.
    Requisites:
    Prerequisite(s): ENG 051A - Must be completed prior to taking this course.
