The study of nursing is a complex academic journey designed to challenge you both mentally and physically. Lemoore College’s Nursing program is designed to prepare you to become an entry-level registered nurse by meeting the requirements for licensure as a Registered Nurse in California. The program emphasizes prioritization, leadership, organization and delegation (PLOD).

Students will learn the problem-solving process used by registered nurses to care for patients as well as guide prevention and wellness activities. Upon completion of Lemoore College’s’ Nursing Program, students are awarded either an Associate of Science Degree or Certificate of Achievement.

Degree Options

Choose from an Associate of Science (AS) degree or Certificate of Achievement within our Nursing program. AS degrees are designed for students planning to transfer to a four-year college or university, while all certificates are non-transferable. Students planning to transfer should be aware not all credits obtained may be transferable.

Students who complete the program with either degree or certificate are eligible to take the licensing exam to become a Registered Nurse in California.
