The 2017-18 school year was a record breaking year for the West Hills Community College District in many respects.
The district saw the highest number of Full Time Equivalent Students (FTEs) in its history, had more students complete certificate and degree programs, and is seeing its Career Technical and Education students earning more money after program completion. Additionally, WHCCD student completion rates are well above the California Community College state average. As West Hills closes the current school year, it continues to see an upward trend of more students, more completers, and more students earning a living wage after completion. We’re moving the needle on student success and we believe we’ll see that needle move even further in the coming years.
