The 2023-2024 academic year has been a historic year for our college as we successfully completed an accreditation visit, served our community through cultural and engagement events, started to build a new two-story instructional building, changed our name to Lemoore College (LC), and recently were named “Best College/University” in the Central Valley People’s Choice awards. The history we made together this year was a team effort as our Golden Eagles focused on staying strong and staying Golden through innovative and inclusive excellence.
All of the hard work, strategy, effort, and energy from all our Golden Eagle family resulted in the best night of the year, the finish line…. Graduation! We had a record number of students petition to graduate and packed our Golden Eagle arena on May 24th for our commencement ceremony where we celebrated our students and their success! The stories about our students and our collaborative efforts shine through in this year’s edition of the West Hills Magazine. Through these articles you will see the resiliency and determination of our students, Lemoore College’s connection and growth opportunities with our local community, and the innovation, heart, and positive impact of our amazing faculty and staff. We are grateful to our students and our community for choosing us to support them in their educational and life journey.
