The Board of Trustees intends to appoint an individual to serve until the next regularly scheduled election for the seat, in accordance with California Education Code Section 5091.
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must be at least 18 years of age, a registered voter, and a resident of Trustee Area 1 within the West Hills Community College District at the time of appointment.
The Board of Trustees plays an important role in supporting student success, establishing district policy, and guiding the future of the district and its colleges. Community members who are committed to public higher education and serving the students and communities of the district are encouraged to apply.
