NOTICE IS HEREBY given pursuant to Education Code section 5092 of the State of California that due to the resignation of Board Member Nina Oxborrow, filed with the Fresno County Superintendent of Schools on May 12, 2026 and effective as of June 30, 2026, a provisional appointment pursuant to Education Code section 5091 has been made.
On June 8, 2026, the Governing Board of Trustees (Board) of the West Hills Community College District made a provisional appointment of Ken Stoppenbrink to the Board. Unless a petition calling for a special election, containing a sufficient number of signatures, is filed in the office the Fresno County Superintendent of Schools, 1111 Van Ness Avenue, Fresno, California, 93721-2000 within 30 days of the date of the provisional appointment, it shall become an effective appointment.
