Our community plays an integral role in helping us achieve our mission:
Lemoore College is dedicated to student learning and achievement by providing quality programs, pathways, and services that lead to certificates, associate degrees, transfer, and employment. Our college serves a diverse community of students who seek a cost-effective, relevant, and engaging educational experience. We are committed to ensuring accessibility for all students and aim to cultivate an inclusive, equitable, and collegial climate.
In addition to serving our students, we also strive to support the community in which we reside. It is our privilege and honor to host our local service organizations, non-profit entities, and community businesses who have supported Lemoore College throughout the years. Local bonds and generous donations to our President’s Scholars program have helped hundreds of students achieve their educational goals, and we are genuinely grateful for that support.
Our Administrative Procedure 6700 Facilities Use procedure defines the procedures for renting West Hills Community College District facilities and outlines rental charges to recover actual operational costs (utilities, supplies, and support staff). Our goal is to support our local community partners while responsibly maintaining Lemoore College’s facilities. We want our beautiful facilities to be well-maintained and available to the community for years to come!
Process for Renting Lemoore College Facilities
Step 1: Complete an Application and Agreement for Use of District Property (Appendix B) per the West Hills Community College District Administrative Procedure 6700-Facilities Use. Submit the form to the President's Office via fax (559) 925-3882 or email a scanned copy to Dawne Troth at dawnetroth@whccd.edu. Once the form is received, staff will verify availability and provide you a quote based on the schedule of fees in AP 6700. A staff member may contact you with additional questions to help them prepare your quote. In order to expedite your request, please make sure to include any auxiliary services needed such as sound systems, microphones, video projection, chairs, tables, etc. You can use the bottom of the form and/or a separate piece of paper to explain your requirements.
Step 2: If the facility is available and you agree to the facility rental quote, sign the quote and send it back to the President's Office via fax (559) 925-3882 or email dawnetroth@whccd.edu. Your event will be scheduled on our campus facility calendar, and an invoice will be sent to the address on your form. You will need to follow up with a certificate of insurance and payment for the deposit in order to maintain the hold on the facility. Specific information and instructions will be sent to you at the time of the quote.
