Lemoore College is excited to announce its 2024 commencement ceremony, which will occur tomorrow, May 24, at 6 PM at the Golden Eagle Arena, 555 College Ave, Lemoore, CA 93245. Lemoore College celebrates a historic achievement this year, with the largest graduating class in the college's history and 445 graduates participating.
Throughout the 2023-2024 academic year, Lemoore College has awarded more than 1600 degrees and certificates. Among these graduates, 131 will receive Silver Cords for GPAs between 3.50 and 3.99, and 27 will be awarded Gold Cords for a perfect 4.00 GPA.
"Our graduates have reached an extraordinary milestone, setting new records for our college," said Lemoore College President James Preston. "Their accomplishments reflect their unwavering commitment and hard work. We are honored to celebrate their success and look forward to seeing the impact they will make in their future endeavors."
The commencement ceremony will be live-streamed to accommodate those who cannot attend in person. Additionally, an overflow area in the college's Student Union will be available for family members who do not have a ticket, ensuring everyone can join the celebration. Graduates, family, and friends are encouraged to capture and share their special moments on Instagram using the hashtag #GoldenEagleGrad24.
