West Hills College Lemoore (WHCL) is thrilled to announce that the men's basketball team has secured the 14th seed in the Northern Cal Regionals and is set to compete in a pivotal playoff game on Wednesday, February 28. The game will occur at 7 pm at the Golden Eagle Arena at 555 College Ave, Lemoore, CA 93245, against Delta College. The winner of this exciting matchup will advance to face San Jose City College, the #4 seed.
"Our men's basketball team's dedication and hard work has been commendable," said Andrea Picchi, WHCL Associate Dean of Athletics, "Being the 14th seed in the Northern Cal Regionals is a testament to their talent and commitment. We are excited about the upcoming playoff game and wish our players the best."
In addition to the anticipation surrounding the playoff game, the WHCL basketball team has several reasons to celebrate individual achievements. The following players have received league honors:
