Starting August 1, 2024, Lemoore College may automatically enroll students in an Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT) pathway if they declare a goal of transferring to a four-year university.
This initiative helps you:
- Achieve your goals: Follow a clear path to earn your bachelor's degree efficiently.
- Save Time and Money: Avoid unnecessary courses.
- Stay on track: Ensure coursework matches your chosen field of study.
What is an ADT?
An Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT) is designed to provide a seamless transfer from a community college to a California State University (CSU). By completing an ADT, you will meet the CSU admission requirements, enter as a junior, and be on track to complete your bachelor's degree in two years.
How It Works
- Declare Your Goal: Choose "Obtain an associate degree and transfer" when you apply.
- Automatic Pathway Placement: You'll be placed in an ADT program if available for your major.
- Student Education Plan (SEP): Develop your SEP with a counselor to include your ADT pathway.
- Regular Check-ins: Get ongoing support from our counseling team.
Exceptions
- No ADT available for your major.
- Plans to transfer to a UC campus or pursue a different degree.
- A local associate degree better suits your goals.
