The H.O.P.E. Initiative

Thanks to a generous philanthropic gift from Mackenzie Scott to has allowed Lemoore College to create and establish The H.O.P.E. (Having Opportunity and Purpose through Education) Initiative that promotes diversity, inclusion, and cultural awareness. H.O.P.E. is dedicated to creating meaningful connections and fostering an environment where everyone feels valued and empowered.

  • The H.O.P.E. Initiative’s primary focus is to serve underrepresented groups in Lemoore and surrounding communities by partnering with organizations to provide educational opportunities.

  • H.O.P.E. focuses on intensive outreach and community engagement to increase participation and academic success in higher education. 

  • The H.O.P.E engagement model features three strands: Pre-College H.O.P.E., College H.O.P.E. and Community H.O.P.E.
