Learn about the physical aspects of the earth and its precious resources as well as human impact on the earth’s ecosystems. Use your analytical skills to learn to solve geology-related problems as you earn an Associate of Science for Transfer (AS-T) degree in Geology, Associate of Art or Associate of Science from Lemoore College.
A career in geology can include jobs as a researcher, teacher, government worker or professionals in the fields of mining, petroleum, surveying, engineering and environmental consulting.
Students who complete this degree are guaranteed admission into the CSU system, but not to a specific institution or academic program. Students transferring to a CSU institution will be required to complete 60 units after transfer to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Geology or related field of study.
