West Hills College Coalinga’s CalWORKS program provides support services to students receiving cash aid from any county welfare agency.
To be eligible for CalWORKS, students must be enrolled at West Hills College and must show verification of CalWORKS/TANF benefits.
There are many services available to students in the CalWORKS program including:
- Academic and Vocational Counseling and Advising
- Paid Work-Study (upon availability)
- Paid Child Care (upon availability)
- Referrals to Programs and Services, On and Off Campus
- Priority Registration
