If you are interested in making a difference in people's lives, consider becoming a Certified Nurse Assistant.  The Coalinga College Nurse Assistant Training Program prepares students for the field in just Nine Weeks! 

Students interested in enrolling in the Coalinga College Nurse Assistant Training Program must be at least 17 years of age, pass a physical examination, and submit LiveScan for FBI and DOJ clearances. 

Students studying in the Coalinga College' Nurse Assistant Training program will learn laboratory skills and be provided with in-hospital training.  Upon completion of this program, students will be prepared for the certification examination.

Fall 2024 Coalinga NAT Program:
  • Theory: W T F October 16th - December 8th at Coalinga College 7:00AM-3:30PM
  • Clinical: W T F November 13th - December 13th 6:30AM-3:30PM in Coalinga, CA
Spring 2025 Firebaugh Center NAT Program:
  • Theory: W T F March 19th - April 16th, 8:00AM - 2:50PM at the Firebaugh Center room 218 
  • Clinical: W T F April 17th - May 16th, 6:30AM - 2:45PM in Chowchilla, CA
  • In preparation for applying to the program when the application window opens.
    • Applications MUST be completed entirety prior to submitting.
    • Only completed applications with required documents are accepted for placement.
    • A downloadable application link will be made available during the application window.
    • Students who are selected for placement MUST attend the mandatory orientation to submit the required documents and order a background check/drug screening and LiveScan in order to be considered for registration. 
      • Firebaugh Center  Nurse Assistant Training Orientation: TBD at the Firebaugh Center Room 108
*Due to an overwhelming response to the NAT program, the first 15 students who submit completed applications will be registered into the program.

Additional Information
  • Students in the Nursing Assisting Program are required to wear uniforms.

    Royal Blue Scrubs, Second Hand Watch, Stethoscope, blood pressure cuff and all white shoes (must be completely white/no cloth material). The uniform/supplies are required and the responsibility of the student to obtain after being accepted into the NATP/NAT Program.

* This program option is not eligible for federal student aid funding. Students who pursue this program option may seek financial assistance from the California Promise Grant which can help pay for enrollment fees if eligible.
