Coalinga College is proud to announce its 2024 commencement ceremony, which will take place tonight, May 23, at 6:30 PM at the Coalinga High School Bowl, located at 750 Van Ness St, Coalinga, CA 93210 and will be live-streamed via the Coalinga College Commencement site.
This year marks a significant milestone, with 598 graduates receiving 951 degrees and certificates, reflecting a remarkable 19% increase in graduates compared to last year.
The ceremony will honor the graduates' hard work and dedication. One hundred twenty-six students achieved the distinction of graduating with a GPA of 3.5 or higher. This accomplishment underscores the academic excellence and commitment to education that Coalinga College fosters.
Dr. Carla Tweed, President of Coalinga College, expressed her pride in the graduates and the institution's growth. "We are thrilled to celebrate this extraordinary group of students," said Tweed. "Their perseverance and academic achievements are a testament to their hard work and the supportive environment we strive to create at Coalinga College. This increase in our graduating class highlights our programs' growing strength and success."
