West Hills College Coalinga Firebaugh Center to Celebrate the Approval of Measure K with Community Event on March 1st

West Hills College Coalinga Firebaugh Center is proud to announce a community event to thank the residents of Firebaugh for passing Measure K on March 1st at 4:30 pm at the Firebaugh Center on campus. 

Measure K is a bond that will provide the Firebaugh Center with the necessary funds to upgrade the center and enhance the education and safety experience of students, staff, and visitors to the center. 

"We are incredibly grateful to the community for their support in passing Measure K," said Dr. Carla Tweed, President of West Hills College Coalinga. "These upgrades will provide students with state-of-the-art technology and resources, ensuring that they are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in today's workforce." 

The event will feature college administrators' speeches and a facilities tour. Light refreshments will be provided. 

"This is a great day for the college and the community," said Dr. Kristin Clark, West Hills Community College Chancellor. "The upgrades made possible by Measure K will benefit our residents for years to come and help provide them with the skills necessary to compete in today's economy."
